For this video game that I’ve created on Roblox, I’ve made a thoroughly detailed GDD:

GDD Deadlock

I was inspired by the high demand for horror games on Roblox and came to see a lot of the successful games were based on the genre survival. A lot of them were based on a randomly selected killer and the rest being victims. I wanted to build a game based on survival but having a two way of winning. In a house with a murderer, your choice is to find out who it is or escape. I’ve chosen to include an escape room option in the gameplay.

The game will have 3 zones: Lobby, Waiting Area and Game Area

I’ll be going through the programming by summarising in text what was programmed and its purpose/function based on the zone.
